Privacy policy
How I collect, use and protect your personal data, in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Ember Media is a sole proprietorship registered in Singapore (UEN 53516558K), run by Elijah Lim. This policy covers this website, enquiries you send me, and the photography and personal training services I provide. Last updated 28 October 2026.
What I collect
- What you send me: your name, phone number, email address, event or training details, and anything else you include when you message me on WhatsApp, email me or build a quote.
- Booking details: contracts, invoices, payment confirmations and your event timeline.
- Photographs: images of you and your guests taken at your event or session.
- Personal training: training history, goals, measurements and any health information you choose to share so I can coach you safely.
- Website usage: pages visited, the link or ad that brought you here, device and browser type, collected with the tools listed below.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry, send quotations and plan your booking.
- To deliver your photos and coaching, and to invoice you.
- To understand which pages and ads bring enquiries, so I can improve the site and spend less on advertising that doesn’t work.
- To show my ads to people who have visited this site, on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google.
I don’t sell your personal data. I share it only with the services I need to run the business, listed below, or where the law requires it.
Tools this website uses
- Cloudflare hosts the site and keeps it secure. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads measure visits and which ads lead to enquiries. They use cookies. You can opt out with Google’s opt-out add-on or in your Google ad settings.
- Meta Pixel measures enquiries from Facebook and Instagram ads and lets me show ads to past visitors. It uses cookies. You can manage this in your Meta ad preferences.
- Microsoft Clarity shows me, without names, how visitors scroll and tap through pages, so I can fix the confusing parts. It uses cookies. Clarity masks text you type.
- WhatsApp and Gmail carry our messages, and my online gallery and invoicing service holds your photos, contract and invoices.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
Photographs and your consent
I may share a small selection of photos from your event on this website, Instagram or in ads, unless you tell me not to. Tell me at any time and I’ll remove any photo of you, with no questions asked.
How long I keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months. Booking records and invoices are kept for 5 years, as Singapore tax rules require. Original photo files are kept for 12 months after delivery, then deleted. Training records are kept while you’re a client and for 12 months after.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, correct it, or withdraw your consent for me to use it. Email [email protected] and I’ll reply within 30 days. I’m the data protection officer for Ember Media, and you can reach me at the same address.
