Roy and Joy walking back down the aisle as guests cheer

Roy and Joy booked four hours for a full church wedding at Hebron Bible-Presbyterian Church, so two of us covered it. One stayed close to Joy and her family while the other followed Roy, the guests and the hall, which meant the same moment often came back from two angles.

It started with her parents lowering the veil, a lot of laughing, and a long hug with her mum. Her father then walked her in past rows of guests holding up their phones.

After the vows, the rings and the kiss came a loud, happy recessional. Once the hall had emptied, Roy lay down across a row of seats and Joy kept walking. The day finished with a tea ceremony with the elders.
